WEBSITE: Initial Comparison Between Dua Lipa - Metallica EGs
In this post I will be comparing the two website examples 'Dua Lipa' and 'Metallica' based around the following themes:
MVID: Possible Influences
VENIOR - Sugar Rush
POSSIBLE INFLUENCES:
1. The slow motion effect on some of the footage.
2. The slow motion to fast motion effect.
3. The flashing lights effect in many colours (red, dark blue, green).
4. The location of a shower and of a deserted non-filled pool.
Rihanna - Needed Me
POSSIBLE POINTS OF INFLUENCE:
1. The slow motion effect on all the footage.
Young Guns - Bones
POSSIBLE POINTS OF INFLUENCE:
1. The slow motion effect.
2. The black and white filter/effect.
3. The location of the abandoned building.
4. The narrative idea of a person angry and throwing things e.g. chairs (in slow motion).
5. The ballet like dancing in slow motion.
Astrid S - Bloodstream
POSSIBLE INFLUENCES:
1. To use a title for the artist's name and maybe the song name too at the very start of the video.
2. The city location, landscape.
3. The underwater filming.
4. Putting a video on a projector and the artist stands in front of the projector making the video go over them too.
5. Filming the city lights/shop lights.
ALMA - Chasing Highs

1. The overall style (hairstyle/colour, clothes) and fashion of the artist.
2. The close ups of neon lights (on casinos, shops, cafe's).
3. The close up shot of a foot stepping in a puddle.

This has inspired me to do the same for my promo package - to produce multiple videos e.g. visualiser, lyric video, behind the scenes video for my artist.
